Innovative natural gas regasification plant at Suzano's lime kilns, Brazil

PRF Gas Solutions is proud to have contributed to the successful start-up of the natural gas regasification plant at Suzano's Lime Kilns unit in Imperatriz. In collaboration with Eneva, and with the support of our local partner, Sondotécnica, this project marks a key step in the energy transition, highlighting the vital role of natural gas as a cleaner, more sustainable energy source.

The newly constructed plant features:

• 8 tanks of 100m³ each, ensuring a substantial storage capacity;
• 6 atmospheric vaporizers, optimizing the regasification process for improved efficiency;
• Gas metering and regulation skid with online chromatography, providing real-time gas quality monitoring;
• 2 unloading bays with centrifugal pumps, enabling fast and efficient handling of the gas;
• A gas flow capacity of 160,000 Nm³/day, supporting stable and flexible operations;
• TETRA FUEL combustion, offering the flexibility to use natural gas (NG), hydrogen (H2), methanol (MeOH), or BPF oil, contributing to operational stability and decarbonization.
